Gameplay

Apparently the game is going to have
  • Randomized dungeons
  • Weather Effects
  • Third-Person Shooting Mode for Shooting
  • Jumping
  • Random Mission Events
Along with the video here are some screenshots of the game to go along with it.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Sega has a bad habit of ruining a game by releasing it too many times.  PSO was gold, but this seems like they're stepping away from what they had and making it further away than PSU.

I mean, really, you can JUMP.  What self-respecting hero would jump?

But you also have a vast number of RPGs out there with main characters lacking the ability to jump.  Even Fable (I mean the original, not the mockeries) didn't have the capability of jumping.

But, anyway, I think I'll wait until the decide to release it stateside for a console before touching it.  Until then, I have some PSO to play.  Again.
