Not that Gamma. Gamma was a robot created either at the same time as Sigma or slightly before/after him. Since his name in the Greek alphabet comes before Sigma, I would guess he would be a prototype for Sigma, or at least created before him.

Okay, there's been some major talkings of while I was at work, so here's my update:

I'm still working on some bosses, but, blackhook, if you are also volunteering to sprite the bosses, then I could definitely use you, since I'm no spriter, and MMX is a sprite oriented game.

And as for Fox U, I've come up with another solution to what I was going to have you do, but if you want to stick around and see if I need you to research something for me, and everyone needs that one person who just sits around and makes suggestions (I've been that person more than once) and you can be him for us.

There is going to be a female, I'm at least sure about one.

And Zero is now technically the leader of the Mavericks...but X is going to be filling that position instead, and Zero will be the muscle.

We're going to finally make X cooler than Zero.  Yeah, Zero's going to get some wicked stuff, since Wily's making the parts now, but the time has come for X to be awesome.  X and Zero will be working on separate paths, since they'll be too evil to split the Maverick Hunters in a single area.  In X's eight base stages, he will have two sets of armor, Zero will have one (the shadow armor) and a new sword, which will pwn with the armor.

Sigma will be a playable character, however, the player has to choose good or evil at the beginning.  The stories of good from game to game will be accurate from their standpoint, while the stories of evil will coincide.  This means that what happens to one party may not happen to the other.

During gameplay, you will be able to "save" Mavericks as Sigma, or "convert/infect" Maverick Hunters as X/Zero.  Some will be forced upon you, like one of Sigma's boss enemies will become a playable character and one of X's will willingly join the Mavericks.  I do not plan on her being a playable, but maybe if there's an XD2.

As I said, X will be the Maverick Lord, Zero the Maverick Marauder, and this willing convert will be the Maverick Lady.  Enjoy.

I will need some help with some boss creations, but I know a few of Sigma's enemies will be re-makes of classic Robot Masters.  How?  Well, the Maverick base is now Wily's old lab, and Zero happened upon some plans...  Hopefuls include Ouickman and maybe Forte.

Also, here's a main menu preview, the D needs some workings on, but that's what I'll be doing.

The revived robots from the classic series could play a part like in the Zero series, how the guardians protected X, perhaps 4 of Wily's greatest creations could come back to be protectors of Zero and X.

You could learn to program it as an SNES game, and make it playable in SNES emulators.

Computer programming would be easier.  It's a format thing.

I kinda don't want it to be in an emulator or ROM, so I'm going to look around some more.
