Oh that. Yeah if you want to have both Zero's black armor and X's ultimate armor, go onto the start menu and enter a code. You'll have to look up the code, and you can only use it on one person, but the next guy you get it in Sigma stage 3. I suggest giving Zero his black armor so you can fight Zero as X. For some reason it feels right to fight him with Wily's insignia in the back...

But anyway. That thing sounds like an alright idea, since making something play on an Emulator is just like saying it would play on the actual console if you found a way to write it to a cartridge.

Yes, or disc. But you know it would be way more awesome to write it to an SNES cartridge and play it on the console.

Retro feels better on retro consoles. But it would be pretty neat on the Wii too. If you could figure out what file Wii downloads are you could make it a file to be downloaded to the Wii that would work like a virtual console game.
