Hello folks, it's Karnstantine, intending to make good on his statement to bring the RP section back to life. This idea, however, is borrowed. It is posted and edited with permission from its creator, Jace, and approved by Death Dark.

Setting: Steampunk/Victorian

Government:The planet known as Terraia is governed by the three great nations The Rebublic of Vaiesh, Cealian Kingdom, and the United States of Arcadia. These three nations have pooled their resources together to create a peace force to stem the rising number of people calling themselves "Sky Pirates". This Peace Force have dubbed themselves the Knights of the Ivory Sky, tho they have been nicknamed the Templers by many of the people.

Purpose: To have fun in a controlled environment and to invigorate roleplay on the site.

Char Profile:
Name: Your character's full name
Gender: Your character's gender
Age: Your character's age.
Race: Can be just about anything. I'm flexible. Must be able to fit the Steampunk setting though.
Appearance: Your character's physical appearance. Needs to be highly descriptive. Sprite/Artwork works just as well.
Height: Self Explanitory
Weight: Self Explanitory
Personality: Self Explanitory
Class: What is your main profession in this world. See Race. Flexible but must fit setting. Also includes what "side" you are on, whether you're neutral, a Pirate/sympathizer, or a Templer/supporter.
Equipment: Any standard equipment your char uses. Must be basic armor, weapons, and items. Nothing OP.
Goals: Why do you do what you do?
Skills: Any special abilities you have?(Magic, swordplay, marksmen, etc.) Must be as descriptive as possible. Each skill must have a specialization as well. I.E. Fire Magic.


Locales: The Winged Devil(a Neutral Tavern that has developed the first engine to ever run off of ambient Arcane energy in the air while creating Arcane Crystals for other Airships to use. Thus becoming the first ever Refueling station)

More locales will open at a later date.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I can and WILL require you edit any Char Sheets to fit the setting and/or to remove any potential OP mechanics.

All chars will have to be approved by me as well before they can be introduced. Have fun everyone.

I'm open to have locales suggested via PM, but you'll have to flesh the locations out sufficiently for me to approve or deny them. May be edits to come as things progress.

Name: Joseph Wright
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Race: Human
Appearance: Nicely tanned, but not that close to dark. Brown eyes, straight brown hair with a reddish tint when the sun hits it that is never longer than an inch, clean shaven
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 160lbs
Personality: The kind of guy that would buy you a drink as soon as breathe. Never really cares where he ends up, because he knows that something will happen there. Happy-go-lucky and fun loving, people are naturally attracted to him. Has a tendency to go missing and be found hours later at the nearest bar.
Class: Wanderer, sympathizes with the pirates, since rules are not something he enjoys
Equipment: Items are a bedroll, canteen, rain coat, with a bag that looks like it could hold clothes for a week plus a chicken. Weaponry is nothing but a survival knife and his fists, although he is a formidable brawler from his years getting in bar fights. Has no armor, as he prefers to travel light.
Goals: See the world, meet people, find wonders. Look for things and places that are one-of-a-kind.
Skills: A strongman, needs to be to live through bar fights. Resistant to blunt attacks, after getting hit so many times. He has yet to find a person that didn't think he was a great guy, and gets discounts from places, along with being better able to convince people.

Name: Hiram Owen

Gender: Male

Age: 53

Race: Human

Appearance: Heavy set, very tanned with soot often visible on his skin. Mussy, middle-of-fore-head-length brown hair with singed ends. Has a well-groomed, almost pristine looking handlebar mustache which curves upward. Wears blue pants with leather on the front. Often wears a blue heavy coat with leather sleeves, and prefers to wear light, grey shirts under it. Is often seen sporting a holster across his chest where he keeps a rather sizable revolver, which is rumored to be made of the bits of metal from the clothes of people he's beaten to death. However, he prefers to wear his leather work apron over it, where he keeps a rather sizable wrench, which he's rumored to have beaten people to death with, in the center of it along with other tools in a belt/tool-holster of sorts. Wears a black bandana around his neck which he pulls up for when he works to keep the smoke and what not out of his face and mustache. Sometimes sports his goggles atop his head about town when he forgets to take them off after working.

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 275lbs

Personality: Quiet for the most part. Often answers questions with a grunt, and leaves you to discern what he meant. Has a eight year old daughter named Abigail, which he loves to death, does everything he can to give her the best in life, even if she hates it. Loyal, and hard-working, not a big fan of getting mixed up in things. A bit of a fan among the Knights of the Ivory Sky for his skills with a wrench and a set of gears.

Class: Mechanic/Smithy/Metallurgist. Previously neutral, but turned pirate sympathizer after a group of Templars attempted to beat answers out of his wife and ended up killing her while he was out of town, so that they could gather information on some of their shop's costumers who were more times than not, pirates.

Equipment: Revolver, tools, welding/metal-working goggles. Known for carrying a massive travel bag strapped over his shoulders when he travels, which looks as if it could contain an entire furnace.

Goals: Make sure Abigail gets as far away from the pirates as possible and lives a great life.

Skills: A huge brawler and a slow mover in fights. Was a crack shot as a youth, and his steady hands from working with blazing hot metal helped keep him that way. Has the absolute worst charisma in the world, which often lands him with the short end of the stick. Unless you're his daughter, wherein he also ends up with the larger portion of the metaphorical stick, or in this case, literal muffin.

This is pretty much the same character I had in Jace's RP with a few modifications here and there.


Name: Kindron Darkfire

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Race: Human

Appearance: He has black spiky hair and green eyes. He usually wears black pants and a gray T-shirt. He will wear black armor when he goes on an adventure. He usually has on a black cloak that covers most of his body. He doesn't wear the hood unless he is out on an adventure, and has three swords at the waist, all on one side. He also has sunglasses that he wears from time to time.

(man I suck at spriting, but here he is. Was going to do the armor too, but couldn't get anything that looked halfway decent)

Weight: 200

Personality: Kindron is rarely serious, and always makes jokes. He is only serious when it comes to his brother, in which his expression changes to an angry, serious look. He is always being a smart-ass. He tends to annoy people. When it comes to battle, he usually fights strategically, using the environment to its advantage.

Class: Founder and CEO of Darkfire Tech, currently the second leading producer of technology. He is aligned with the Sky Pirates, and funds them on the side. He has them search for his brother. He goes out on adventures when needed. He is very secretive about his funding for the sky pirates and has a lot of paperwork to cover it up. No one outside of Kindron's most trusted people know about his adventures and side trips.

Equipment: He has basic black armor that he wears when on an adventure. It covers his body lower legs, and forearms. The armor is so that he can still move, however, it does leave him open to in a few areas. The armor isn't made of metal, so it is a little faster, but also not as strong. However, the armor isn't a conductor, so he won't be hurt by any type of electrical attack, which he designed because he uses lightning spells. He has three swords which he can use. Kindron is one of the few people that has mastered the three-sword style. He wears a black cloak which weighs quite a bit. When he takes it off, it is usually obvious it weighs a lot, but he doesn't take it off except in battle.

Goals: He is trying to find his older brother, who is a murderer on the run. His brother, Garton, killed their mother and father. Kindron still hasn't found out precisely why he did it, but plans to kill his brother anyway. Kindron uses every resource he can. He also wants to further his business as far as he can, and still fund the Sky Pirates.

Skills: He has the ability to use lightning spells. He has to cast the spell by saying it, which puts him at a disadvantage because his opponents can determine what he's going to do by the name of the spell he uses. He has a variety of lightning spells that he uses. He can use a lightning on his swords to charge them with electricity which will cause electrical burning on a cut wound. He did not have these powers naturally, and had to learn how to cast the spells with years of training. Thanks to a spell book he got a long time ago. His brother inherited the power, and can use the spells without saying them, but Kindron didn't inherit them, so he had to learn on his own. Not only does he have to say the spell, but his spells are slightly weaker than the original spells that his brother uses. He has also trained to move very fast, but this means that in strength, he doesn't match up to stronger opponents.

You're free to make plots for your own characters. It's pretty much a free-for-all, so long as nobody tries to domineer the whole thing. I might also have things for you to do via bulletin board, or based on rumors from some of my characters.

Generally, Can I use the exact same guy I had in the original winged devil? Sure, possible minor alternations if you dislike him, but overall same guy, as long as he fit there?

This is partly an opportunity for anyone who played on Inc to start anew, whether with a new character, or their old one. Though I'm surprised Fenril hasn't said anything. o-o

That said. Hiram and Kindron approved. The Dude, I request that you choose a new name for the character, as if I recall right, that name belongs to a galactic hitch-hiker.

It takes time to make an original character, and most people aren't willing to put that much into it.

I'd say wait 3 or 4 days, maybe a week.

EDIT: Yeah, a week has past. You might as well start it up with nothing but blacksmith, wanderer, and magician CEO.
