Yes.

First Party means the company's is an internal development team for that company, as Brownie Brown, HAL Laboratories, and Intelligent Systems are for Nintendo.

Third Party means it's an independent company. Think Square Enix and Konami.

"Second Party" really isn't even a thing. They're just Third Party Companies who happen to release all their games on one company's platform(s). Think Insomniac Games prior to Overstrike, or Naughty Dog before being bought by Sony. It does NOT refer to subsidiaries; those would be covered under First Party.
