Persona 2's plot is based on rumors affecting reality. So, rumors go around about what happens if you call your own cell number. These rumors say that if you do that, a being called the Joker appears and grants you a wish. Being the responsible young adults the main characters are, they ignore these silly rumors and focus on academic success.

Just kidding. Of course they do it, and discover the power of their Persona somehow.

But why should I buy this? Persona 2 already came out, so why would I want it again?

Because the Persona 2 released in the states was actually part 2 of 2. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is what came to the states, so we missed half of the series. Now, we can experience it without the need of translation patches.

It comes out on September 20th, so if you don't want this game to flop because Gears of War 3 came out on the same day, buy it.

It's also where I got my shades Hitler from.

Well, he isn't called Hitler in game. He's the Fuhrer.

They also replaced all the swastikas with iron crosses.

usually swastikas meant a symbol of good luck.... nowadays they are more than associated with nazis.

no, you've got it wrong. originally, swastikas in japan were a symbol of life, and then hitler came, turned them 45 degrees, and said O HAI GUYS WE DEM NAZI PARTIES AND WE PRO LIFE.

Actually they used to be a Native American symbol.

But I picked the game up today, and I really like it. The only thing I have a problem with is the abominable load times.
