Well what do you think...I was presently surprised by how well it was written and the amount of humor that was in it...but Jon Cryer still makes the show i think.

Jon's allen, right? i disagree. Charlie made the shoe, allen kept it from breaking apart.

Yes Jon Cryer is Alan Harper.  And I agree with you partially, but without Alan Charlie Sheen's character would not have been as good in my opinion.  I am hoping that the show does alrite.

acting wise- jon
ratings and view amounts wise- charlie
other viewers wise- the chubby kid which plays jake. my family has begun calling me jake because i look like him if only a -bit- heavier, and a haircut which doesnt work too well at all.

Angus T. Jones plays Jake Harper...and yes Charlie Sheen did get most of the viewing credit...but think about most of his funny moments and the reason that he was such a good character were jokes at Alan's (Jon Cryer's) expense.  And they are doing the same thing with Ashton Kutcher.  Don't get me wrong I am not disagreeing with you per-say.
