It's like the matches filmed for the showcases are staged?  Why would it seem like that at all?

But, I noticed on a few of Phreak's videos people rage at him doing something or the other, and it seems more than just a few guys who don't know what they're doing.  As such, I anticipated a bit of a dichotomy in the community about his skill (as portrayed here).

Back to Tryn, though (you may remember recommending him to me, Lern), I've been considering his build, so here are my thoughts:

His passive is a fantastic critbuilder, so it would be wise to take advantage of that.  So, at least starting out, I'm going to use my Miss Fortune crit runes and Warwick Armor runes, and the CDR runes that both share.  This will be a nice balance of stuff I already have, and all will play into his abilities.

Looking at him, there are a few things that I know I want to exploit:  high AP/AD ratios on abilities, no mana (cooldown dependent), built-in crit chance, rage built on attack speed, and survivability.

-So, this reminds me of Nashor's Tooth, Rageblade, and hextech for the hybrid, and Nashor's gives CDR.
-Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer for crit and attack speed.
-Ghostblade for Avarice Blade and Brutalizer, as both parts could be useful independently early game to combine into one item midgame, and gives crit, armor pen, attack damage, and cooldown.
-Atma's Impaler for damage, crit, and armor
-Frozen Mallet / Warmogs for combo with Atma's and more survivability
-The three BFS children (Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster, Black Cleaver)

Because Nashor's and Yommu's provide a combined 40% CDR and AP/AD, I'm really leaning towards using them, but they also eliminate the need for Ionian Boots of Lucidity, which means I can use Berserkers/Mercury/Swiftness as needed, though I'm not sure which I should default to.

I'd really like to not avoid using Infinity Edge, and I'd like to be able to use Atma's as well.  The question then is should I go more offensively (Frozen Mallet) or defensively (Warmogs).

The other problem is then that's 6 items, and I don't have a Bloodthirster or Black Cleaver, both or either of which would be useful.  I could drop the Nashor's and grab Bloodthirster, since the AP won't benefit me quite like it would Kayle or Cho'Gath (E for both of them).  The only unfortunate part of that would be losing 25% CDR, which means I can't use my moves quite as often (primarily my ult).

I'm going to play a bit (yes on bots [it'll at least be on intermediate]) with him to see what combinations work for me and what fail miserably, and then come back to see what ya'll have said about my build ideas, and take it from there.

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUN.  Played one match of PvC, and I think I'll head back into PvP immediately with him when Sepuku can play.

The Vlad playing didn't want to mid, so it was Sion or I for mid, as Shyvana was jungling and Taric was tanking for Vlad.  I :|'d and ran up to mid as the minions got there.  Annie almost immediately started attacking me, so I was all "fuck it" and attacked her.  And easily got the kill.  Rinse, repeat, dry, kill minions, repeat, etc.

Build Order I used:

Glove -> Avarice Blade
Vampiric Scepter
Berserker's
Infinity Edge
Last Whisper
Frozen Mallet
Avarice Blade -> Atma's Impaler
Scepter -> Bloodthirster

I tried getting it out earlier, but eventually stuck with Stark's to help Sepuku stay in lane longer so he could tank for me more.  Also, I would die right after maxing Bloodthirster each time because of over aggression (I can't tell where the limit is).

Build order now:

Start:  Glove
Visit 1:  Boots of Speed, Avarice Blade
Visit 2:  Berserker's, Vampiric

If gold's an issue, I'll go for Brutalizer.
If not, I'll go for Infinity.

Stark's
Phage -> Frozen
Atma's
Black Cleaver

And I complete Ghostblade somewhere along the way.

I play shyv a solo top. Start fire bolt for harass/executions/pushes/bonus damage beneath turrets, then main the fire whirl and take doublestrike ONLY AFTER I FINISH MY FIRE WHIRL, due to it being somewhat useless as a solo. I buy:

sell D shield buy warmogs if your team is gay or atma's if you seek to murder

So I play a match as urgot, and aside from being ksed a bajillion times and aside from having someone leave 5 minutes in, and, most importantly, aside from the fact we had the exact same turrets and inhibitors left but my team surrendered for really no good reason, We lose.

Then the enemy singed spams the nexus-plosion animation with a series of 'lol noobs' 'ez' 'easy!' 'wtf noooooobs' etc. Game ends, and I tell him this in lobby:

And then I tried him in dominion and butchered them, feeding gp a mouthful of bouncing bombs, making yi trip on my mines, blowing jax away from my plastics, blowing ziggs up with nukes and just short fuse/lich bane(at 500 ap) comboing cassiopeia to make her drop her balls through her throat.

And this, my dear friends, is what happens when I get in my enemy's face about how they sucked. Mostly what fueled this was how much teemo in our team sucked and pissed me off the entire game and made me certain we'd lose, but thanks to olaf's beyond frightening resilience in top during 10 or more sieges, akali's incredible chasing ability, and my absolutely genocidical nukes, bursts, aoes, traps and combos- We managed to clean shit up and wipe them time and again (Me doing the damage and akali chasing any escapees, Olaf defending top and then pushing into mid), and eventually, win, with 4 aps, and 1 ad. Teemo was last pick and instead of going ad like we asked him to last second insta locked teemo. At first we were hopeful, teemo being a very able ad and what not.

but not, as I said what not, was that the case. He went ap, like a fucking prick, and pissed me off. Then I saved the day.

Then i posted this and then I went to sleep.

Mage'Gath are fun.  I'm trying to turn him a bit more hybrid to make his E more effective while keeping retarded damage on his Q and R.
