This is taking a bit longer than I had hoped. Whoops.

Due to school and other things, I haven't been able to take care of the main site as much as I would like to recently. Double whoops. I've been debating if I should put up Blackhook's most recent comics, since, you know, the whole hosting dilemma was supposed to be fixed by now and I didn't want to have to do that twice, but at this point, I'm going to have to do more than originally planned anyway.

Expect MegaMan Dissonance tomorrow.

Yeah thing about that was that I was gonna update it yesterday and we all saw the forum being down. So then I was engaging in deliberations with bryansoft again because they closed a support ticket without me being supported. So yeah there is no dissonance today because I started doing schoolwork again.

Good news: We're moving back to bryansoft tomorrow. As far as I'm concerned, this is like an early birthday present for me. There is of course, bad news to this. The benefits to this are numerous from a hosting perspective, and as a precaution, I will keep my account on this host alive for as long as possible. Hopefully the out of the blue suspensions will stop, the mysql errors will stop, and we'll have a more functional site.

The Bad:
We'll lose the forum posts made on bryansoft for that few days. I doubt anyone even really remembers them. I'll backup the forum as it is here. Also going to download a full backup of the site, but I won't be putting up any of it but the index and the comics folder (overwrite, of course).

For now, we're going to go without a shoutbox there. I will look into less resource intensive alternatives as I learn more about SSI functionality and the use of the database in general.

That's really all I can think of right now. I'm really sleepy and this might not get done tomorrow. That's questionable.

Due to my inability to change nameservers right now, we can't switch back to bryansoft. I guess this will change in the next few days.
