On a related note, I've heard that Nintendo actually cannot use the Gamecube controller any longer due to a lawsuit from some time ago regarding controllers or something. This was used as an excuse as to why the system itself is not supporting (currently) Gamecube controllers, but I don't really see how that even holds water.

Even if Nintendo cannot use the controller, I assume it has something to do with the design (which is a crying shame because it's the best designed controller ever created). I very, very highly doubt that the controller port is an issue of copyright infringement (which shouldn't be there in the first place because it's a goddamned video game controller and if someone wants to bitch, Atari should be scooping up funds out the fucking ass for inventing the analog joystick). On top of this, even after this purported lawsuit was filed, Wiis are still created with Gamecube controller ports. If there were an issue there, then that issue would have been resolved and Wiis would not have Gamecube controller ports anymore, and force you to play Gamecube Games with the Classic Controller.

Is Nintendo worried that they can't fucking sell Gamecube controllers anymore, so they feel like it's a waste to put the port on there? That's ass fucking backwards.
