[Death Dark]

     "Well, all that will happen now is that she will continue to visit as the pregnancy continues, and will know the child throughout his or her life, though it will most likely be a boy," Jame continued.

     "This is a little unfortunate, because Human and Elven deities do not have the best history of getting along together," Michael began.  "Since the both of you have one of the nine, Tsuiade will be following you until he's dead or you are, and Myria will be doing much the same.  It would not surprise me if Tsuiade tried to kill Myria somewhere along the way."

"How could he kill a goddess though? He is more powerful than a normal human, I'll give him that, but aren't gods over everything?"

[Death Dark]

     "In theory, he won't be able to kill her.  He is, technically, god-like, but he still can't properly kill a human god.  You forget, Tsuiade is a power created to counter the power of nine arch-angels, and the power of the wielder of the weapons containing the souls thereof.  He's not truly a god, but his power allows him to tread in their territory."

     Jame took the lead again.  "But, don't just let him beat up on her.  Yeah, he can't kill her, but he can still hurt her very badly.  You currently have 4 of the nine, so hitting him once with each will allow Ores to seal him.  The more of the nine he's hit with, the more powerful the seal will be, up until it's with all nine, in which case we'll be rid of him."

"What would happen if he were to obtain one of the nine?"

[Death Dark]

     Everyone in the room besides Emily and you cringed.

     "That," Ores answered, "would surely mean the end of the earth.  There's a chance that we could beat him, but he knows the weapons so much better than any of us do that he'd be able to beat us.  He knows the keywords that were missing, and those are supposed to be the strongest ones there were."

     "However much I hate to sound pessimistic about it, I'd have to say that Ores is right," Victoria agreed.  "Tsu--the man with red eyes getting ahold of one of the nine is just a nightmare.  He would instantly have the power to begin to destroy the world, which is his entire goal.  Like Michael said, he has the power to counter all 9 at once.  The nine amplify the user's power.  You could just imagine the rest."

     "Thank you, Jame, Michael.  You've been a big help."

     "It's no big deal," Jame shrugged.  "It was very entertaining doing the research."

     "It was also a good break from doing your job," Michael said.

     "Well, if I can't be here, you just have to do it for me," Ores told him.

     "It's a big job."

     "And I trust that you can handle it.  Now, Fish, do you have any more questions before we leave?"

"No. That is all."

[Death Dark]

     That evening found you back at an inn.  This one was a bit nicer, having a small living area between the entrance and the bedroom.  It was nicely furnished, and you sat across from Ores on the circular couch.  Ores was absorbed in some books that were on the table that the couch wrapped around.

     There was a knock at the door.

     "Fish, could you get that?"

"Yeah, sure." I get up from the couch and walk to the door. "Who is it?" I ask as I unlock the door.

[Death Dark]

     You opened the door to find Sara standing there, suitcase in hand.  She wore elegant white robes with golden metal as a belt, bracelets, and a choker.  "Hello, is Ores here?"

[Sepuku.exe]

"Uhh, yeah. One second. Wait right there." I walk over to Ores, and whisper that Sara is at the door. "What should we do about Victoria?"

[Death Dark]

     "Hey, Sara, please go down the hall to the next door along this wall.  That'll be the room you'll be staying in tonight."

     "Okay.  Thank you, Ores."

     "Goodnight."

     The door closed, and you could hear Sara walk away.

     "Before you say anything," Ores spoke up, "yes, I know that I just sent her to the same room as Victoria."

I look at him in utter amazement. "You have a death wish, don't you?" I walk over to the couch and sit down.

[Death Dark]

     "I know that I'm putting a strain on both of them, but I feel that the more they get to know each other, the better.  Besides, I'm not much of one for this whole 'subtlety' business."

"I can tell. Anyways, before the fireworks move out here, I've got something to talk to you about."

[Death Dark]

     "Look, I don't care if you're gay, that's fine with me, just don't try to pull me into it."
