The One Man RPG 2

[Sepuku.exe]

I fall over to lay down on the couch. "Ores, the man with red eyes was the reason I passed out earlier. He had a proposition for me."

[Death Dark]

     "The man with red eyes wanted to strike a deal?"

[Sepuku.exe]

"He said that he would leave us alone for four years, and for me to kill the owner of the Ninth."

[Death Dark]

     "What?  You're not making much sense."

[Sepuku.exe]

"Ok, let me start over. He said that he wouldn't harm us for four years. Us being Emily and I, and the child. At the end of those four years, I am to kill the owner of the Ninth, If I accept."

[Death Dark]

     "Now, that makes sense.  So, what are you going to do about it?"

[Sepuku.exe]

"I can't accept it. I won't kill anybody like that."

[Death Dark]

     "But, this is your one chance to make sure that your child lives.  Not only your child, but Emily as well."

[Sepuku.exe]

"I care aout them, and I want them to be safe. But I won't kill anybody. After four years, my child may become the owner of the Ninth. Who knows? But I won't do it."

[Death Dark]

     "Good.  I think you've made the right choice.  If you want, the two of you can stay with my brother in the headquarters off the Elven Alliance.  You'd be safe there while I find the rest of the nine."

[Sepuku.exe]

"Oh no. I'm not doing that. Your brother is kinda creepy. And besides, You need Emily to entertain Victoria. So no deal. I'm sticking with you."

[Death Dark]

     "Why does Emily need to entertain Victo--"

     Suddenly there was a loud thud on the wall of the apartment that connected to the girls' room.

     "Oh, that...

     "Is there anything else?"

[Sepuku.exe]

"Actually, yes. I'd like for you to get me something to eat. But before that, I'd like you to tell me more about yourself. And your position here. And anything else you are hiding from us."

[Death Dark]

     "What do you mean, 'hiding?'  I haven't hidden anything from any of you."

[Sepuku.exe]

"You did a pretty good job of 'hiding' the fact that you're the chief of this city... makes me wonder what else you have to tell."
