Ki/Chi

I'll refer to it as "Ki" because that's the name I prefer.  Usually they're used interchangeably, but there are sometimes differences.  For example, Golden Sun has Ki as a Spiritual energy and Chi as a Mental energy.  The terms are used to refer to a mixture of mental, spiritual, and physical energies, mostly mental and spiritual energies running through the physical form (body).  The ability to channel these energies is an important part to such things as energy (referred to as "ki" in the original Japanese) based attack of DragonBall (Z and GT as well), and Ninjutsu ("Ninja Arts").

Now that I have them defined, and I don't intend on discussing the definition, we may now discuss the practical applications.  I, either because I'm a wierdo or because I'm too huge of a nerd, believe it exists.  In fact, I've been trying for years to harness the energy (I was inspired to try by an episode of DBZ).  Through my simple explorations, I've accomplished the following:

•   Being able to distinguish the energy
•   Being able to know when I'm producing excess energy
•   Being able to alter my production of excess energy
•   Being able to mildly channel the energy

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to physically manifest the energy in any way, nor have I been able to see if my channeling my energy actually alters the output of the given body part.

Now, we can spend the rest of the topic in any of the following two ways:

1)  Debating the existence of this energy
2)  Figuring out how to properly test/prove/manifest the energy
3)  Me teaching you (whoever "you" may be) how to produce the above results

Hey, can I bring this back to life? I find this topic interesting.
I believe a form of energy such as this does exist, for I have seen a man who could heat tin foil wrapped in a wet paper towel from 72 degrees to 110 degrees with his bare hand. Not only that, but he could use that energy to shift his weight so much, he could walk over a sheet of paper that was held over the ground.
