Top 10 Mega Man Females

Let's face it. Girls aren't the most popular gender in video games, but there are those that shine brighter than the others. The following are the top ten best Megaman chicks. They may not be Samus Aran, but we like them anyways.

#10: Neige - Mega Man Zero 4 (GBA)

She's just your average news reporter on run from a creepy old man with half of Neo Arcadia in tow. She acts as a supporting character throughout most of the game, which revolves around Dr. Weil's intentions and Kraft's relationship with Neige. This later escalates into Kraft blowing up Neo Arcadia in hopes that Neige will agree with his actions. Yeah... Neige is only number ten because even if it was unintentional, hundreds (maybe of thousands) of people died in her name.

#9: Ashe - Mega Man ZX Advent (DS)

A hunter who doesn't remember her past, then finds out that she's a relative of Albert, the game's main protagonist. That's gotta suck... Sh'es the BIomatch for Model A and this leads to some fun times (even if Expert Mode is nuts). She's caring, reliable, and she's even a bit cocky at times, which cost her a spot or two.

#8: Mistress Sera - Mega Man Legends 2 (PSX)

One of the Mother Units of Elysium and the game's main antagonist. For most of the game, she watches from the sideline as Trigger goes around collecting the Mother Lode keys. All the time, she remembers the battle that left both herself and Trigger on the verge of death. When you finally get all of the keys, she returns to Elysium and attempts to activate the Carbon Reinitialization Program, which would kill everybody on the planet. Man, what a conniving little...

#7: Ciel - Mega Man Zero (GBA)

A human scientist that acts as the leader of the Resistance. While fleeing from Pantheons, she stumbles upon Zero and unknowingly sets in motion a four-game series in which Neo Arcadia meets its' match. During the entire series, she gives you both assistance on missions and moral support. She also acts as a mother to Alouette, a shy child-like Reploid. The only reason why she's so low is because she was the one that made Copy X, the leader of Neo Arcadia. Not a good move on her part.

#6: Pandora - Mega Man ZX (DS)

A Reploid of few words. She is found with Prometheus and nevers speaks more than she has too. You can tell that she's your enemy just by listening to her talk. She's got a sort of tone in her voice that let's you know that she's not one to be screwed around with. In the first game, she acts in the background, but reappears (and assumedly dies) in the second. If ZX3 is made, I hope Pandora returns. She's one of my favorites.

#5: Tron Bonne - The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PSX)

A 'pirate' that serves as a main baddie in Legends 1, then returns in a game all of her own. Tron's been a bad guy, a good guy, a peeved dictator, and at times, even acts as a mother to her Servbot minions. She treats her friends with respect, but won't hesitate to torture the Servbots if the mess up. After playing this game, you're introduced to a completely different version of Tron. I wonder if she ever made a rocket that flew all the way to Elysium...

#4: Iris - Mega Man X4 (PSX)

Where do I begin? If you've beaten Zero's story in X4, then you know where I'm coming from. She's an extremely good friend of Zero, but is also Colonel's brother. When Colonel begins acting up, Zero dashes into battle, causing Iris to worry about both of them. After several conflicts, Zero unintentionally kills Colonel, causing Iris to snap and attack Zero. Naturally, she loses and quickly dies as well, causing Zero some pain. I doubt that there's been another girl on this list who's connected more with a lead character than Iris.

#3: Roll - Mega Man (NES)

I can't have a list of top Megaman chicks without having at least one incarnation of Roll. Seeing as the original is classic, let's go with that one. She appears in Megaman and Megaman 2, but her name is discovered until the credits of Megaman 3. Kinda weird, huh? Anyways, she usually acts as a support character, though she has bitten the bullet and fought on several different occasions. She may seem timid, but she's still a force to be reckoned with.

#2: Splash Woman - Mega Man 9 (X360)

Thank God, a female Robot Master does exist! After nine games and 66 guys, Capcom finally introduced the first female boss. Naturally, being a water-type boss, she looks like a mermaid, but this makes me question how she gets around on land. Anyways, she's one of the weakest bosses in the game, but can still manage to knock you down a peg if you're not careful.

#1: Berkana - Mega Man Xtreme 2 (GBC)

Never heard of her? Can say I blame you. Megaman Xtreme 2 was a spinoff that featured bosses from the first three X games. The plot followed X, Zero, and (amazingly enough) Iris as the fought against the Soul Hunters, Berkana and Gareth. They killed Reploids by stealing their 'souls', then using them to make items. During the game, Berkana, though acting tough, still worries about X and Zero's increasing strength, then finally faces off against X, where she dies. Not many people know about her and that's why she's number one. After all, she was the first female Maverick. Can't get much cooler than that.
