Due to a few other rumors that I cannot source, it has been said that Legends 3, if it were to be made, would be preferred to have motion control to deal with the previously atrocious aiming system.
If this is true, Xbros, count yourselves out.

According to a rumor from famous rumor starter "The Shadow" (The same individual that accurately called out much of RockMan 9 before it even released), "a Mega Man Legends sequel is indeed currently in development at Capcom. The project is "very tight lipped" at the moment and as such, he cannot disclose further details at this time. However, official news on the project is expected to surface after Capcom shifts their focus away from Mega Man Universe. No time frame was disclosed."

Not to say that "The Shadow" that accurately leaked information on RockMan 9 (who was later confirmed to be, you guessed it, a true Capcom insider) is the same "The Shadow" as this one, and in the world of people hiding behind 7 proxies, there's no accurate way to say for sure, but it's good to hope.

I think it's pretty obvious it'll be DASH 3. They hinted at Comic Con that they were making another Mega Man game that people have been asking for. That, along with Kamiya saying, "DASH fans will be pleased," sounds like reason enough to expect it for next year. I'd say about Nov. 2011. Probably for the Wii. (PS3 being too expensive to develop for, just see Monster Hunter Tri.)
