But of course. It would be pointless to import one if we only have to wait an extra month.

As good as Legends 3 is bound to be, I can't help but worry if Capcom will actually use Inafune's story or not. After all, X6.

I was referring to making X6-X8, they were never meant to exist. Taking Axl out of canon was them trying to undo horrible mistake.

X6 is part of the canon RockMan storyline. I really don't get people's problem with that game, it wasn't bad at all. The music was pretty amazing, the stage design was challenging, the armors were pretty nice, and Zero broke the rules just to put himself back together.

I don't get why people keep whining about Axl...He can float, shoot in 8 directions, has limitless ammo, cand turn into some enemies.
Seriously, this guy deserves respect for 2 things too
1. Shooting Sigma at point blank range while the former tries to take over him
2. Shutting up Lumine's hannibal lecture by shooting, while X almost gave up!

My point was that Inafune intended X5 to be the last X game, and then Mega Man Zero would kick off from there. But Capcom said "F*ck you" and made X6 all for the sake of greed. I wouldn't be surprised if Legends 3 was better described as Legends FUBAR.

And Axl wasn't all bad, it's because of him we got Model A.

In all honesty, the Zero series was created as an alternate universe. The Zero series was worked on separately from the X series, and by the time the second game was being produced, the team had no idea what the storyline in the X series was doing. X5 was made in the hopes that it would be a better lead into Legends, which was something Inafune really liked (and still does).

However, since Zero dies at the end of X5 no matter what ending you get, the Zero series couldn't exist in the main timeline (which was apparently where it was wanted at this point) without Zero living, thus X6 was created to revive Zero and then directly lead to the beginning of the Zero series with him being locked away almost immediately after the game's end, queue finding his body in the ruined lab. For all of this, they pretty much HAD to make the ZX series in order to make Legends even fit in anymore.

If you haven't caught on, Inafune really, really cares about the continuity of the story lately.

And so, Capcom could care less about Inafune's story.
