They care about money, though. Which is why someone made this:

But really, they said they cancelled it because there was not enough Devroom support. If we sign up and show 'em we care, they might reconsider.

Capcom's definition of "devroom support" is that there weren't enough fans jumping up being like "hey can I come work with you guys on this for no pay?"

Honestly, I refuse to help.

THERE ARE NO HEROES LEFT IN MAN.

When this fails, I'm blaming every single one of you that couldn't be bothered to sign up and make one lousy post.

When this fails, I'm going to continue blaming Capcom. We, the fans, are clearly in no way, shape, or form, an influence on any video game company's decisions. This is apparent in Nintendo of America's lack of concern for the North American market of the Mother series, as well as their decision to not release other hotly requested titles, and it becomes further obvious in light of Capcom's clear outright refusal to listen to a fanbase that shrinks exponentially each year, not as a result of disinterest, but as a result of the shoddy condition of the series due to Capcom's negligence. Inafune left for a reason, and that reason is that Capcom went to shit.

There is no "protest". There is no "we have Capcom employees on our side". There is indeed "Capcom wants our money", however, because you fail to see that this is nothing but them attempting to revive their currently suffering name. Nothing will come of it, and in fact, it is a huge marketing ploy to make them appear to want to listen to their fans, and was a marketing ploy from the beginning for them to garner interest in the 3DS so that they could port their shit fighting games and zombie shootan to a handheld and make tons of unwarranted money on rehashes.

You need to face it, Capcom has taken an Activision turn, and if Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 doesn't prove it, then you're ignoring some serious facts. Enjoy taking part in yet another staunch disappointment from your "friends" at Capcom.

EDIT: I did toss in a sign, not because I believe, but because some people want to.

Fans may not be responsible for the company's decisions, but the company can use fan reactions to gauge certain things.

But there are different ways of looking at it.
