I am probably just as excited as anyone for the new Elder Scrolls to come out...I do hope that it remains similar to Morrowind and Oblivion.  I think that both of these games were great and that there is room for improvement, but I hope that it does not come to the point where the developers deviate to far from the earlier games and try to focus more on newer things to do, rather than remain true to what made the games so great to begin with. And please god no regenerating health, health bars!

Obviously, they've learnt from their Fallout projects.  I think we're going to see some influence flowing back in for minor fixes.  Of course, they're going to keep the system the same (as it has been for quite some time), and we'll start off as a slave or some other captive (X on a metal slab).  I seem to be able to trust Bethesda to know what they're doing so far.

Bethseda needs to properly go die in a fire for what they did to Fallout.

With that being said, Skyrim looks like a nice improvement from THE STOCK STILL MOTIONLESS FIGURES of the GameBryo engine.

I could not agree more...you can now use magic (i.e. cast spells and magic attacks) and use weapons at the same time. Plus you can dual wield weapons as well.

dude i am with you i thought that morrowind was better than oblivion...it is my favorite elder scrolls...and i hope they do bring back some stuff, but i do hope that they do not screw this one up by sticking to to much old stuff and not trying to introduce anything new
