FENRIL'S ON VACATION

NOW THAT I HAVE THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM... this is gonna be a lot more boring.
On the other hand, it should be good practice for writing memoirs. So, the night before we left! Went to get my hair cut, and wow do I suck at conveying what I want. Also we got there AS THEY WERE CLOSING, so no time for a proper haircut. LUCKY THING I'M UGLY NO MATTER WHAT MY HAIR IS DOING SO MY SELF-ESTEEM DOESN'T EVEN CAAARE. Now to worry about how fat I'll look in a bathing suit for the 18 hour drive. Hurrr.

And then I packed. This is my typical everyday to-go kit, and my long term to-go kit.

THE NEXT DAY.
I hogged the front seat because loool carsickness. So, my grandmother, Keeta, her little sister, that-one-12-year-old-boy cousin, and I all smushed into the car. And drove for I-can't-remember-how-long, 'till we reached Stucky's! (Does anyone remember Sam&Max Hit the Road?) There were novelty pencil sharpeners, lovely sunflower wind-chimes, an offensively ridiculous hat, and an awesome hat that's 20 dollars but cripes I was still tempted to spend money on it. LOL IMPULSE BUYING. And, I picked up a Mountain Dew, but we'd run out of cup holders. So I improvised.

And then we drove some more. And more. And mooore. AND MOAR. OH MAN THIS IS SO EXCITING. We saw this, this, and then a bridge happened. And then more bridges happened.

Then we stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch and, lookie what I found on the menu. I tried to take a picture of the color, but my camera makes everything look yellow. I ordered a 1/2 pound burger, and ate the entire thing like the fat pig I am. Then we goofed off in he gift shop. Keeta's little sister is adorable. Someday, I'm going to buy this, and eat the whole thing. My mother also wants me to watch this -- I wish I had enough money to buy all these things.

So back on the road. I picked up a Horehound flavored candy stick, which is a type of plaaant, and it tasted like iced tea. And then we drove. And drove. AND DROVE. IT WAS SO INTERESTING OHMYGRAAAUGH. Then Louisiana. Swamps. Swamps errywhere. And this might me the Mississippi, but I can't remember. EVERYTHING IS WATER. IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME. AAAAA.

And then everyone fell asleep, except for the driver(heeeh) and myself. And we listened to music. And got stuck in traffic for 2 hours at Baton Rouge. And then night happened. (WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE.) We stopped at a gas station after we got out of that traffic. And we got snaaacks. After snacking, and everyone else falling asleep, I got bored. Like, really bored. In fact, so bored that I just did this for hours. And then pretty buildings happened, and we went through a super awesome tunnel. It looked like it had side doors, and a hand rail, and it made me wonder what it would be like to walk through there. I can only wonder if anyone's ever been hit and badly injured by a car mirror or somesuch.

I conked out a little while afterwards, and woke up at 4am with my face stuck to the window. Apparently we had detoured into Georgia by accident. 12 states down. So, then we continued driving. And lookie I saw a staaar. Or Venus. Then the skyline started making rainbows. And I got some amazing tree silhouettes. And some amazing dead tree silhouettes. There was some funky fog going on, but WHO CARES WE WERE IN FLORIDA.

We had a yummy breakfast, then got naked and took showers. I spent a long time doodling on our room's dry erase board. Keeta and I took a walk, we goofed around on the computer, and trolled L4D2. Then we went to a party for St. Patrick's Day. Keeta might have gotten the wrong soda. And maybe she didn't like the food. And maybe she was annoyed at her cousin for waving the damn camera all up in her face. But all in all, it was fun.

AND THEN IT WAS MORNING. AND WE DID NOTHING ALL DAY TODAY. We did go to Jeremiah's Italian Ice, though. There were so many tasty looking flavors on the menu! I wanted to get a red ice cream because they're pretty, but I got Mint Chocolate because IT'S MY FAAAVORITE. She might have been indecisive about dinner the other night, but Keeta loved her ice cream. And we did our GIGGLING GIRL THING. (FFFFORTE) And then we ended the night with a group picture in which my legs are- OH CRIPES JUST DON'T LOOK MAN.

And then we went to sleep. Except not, because it's 3am and I'm still typing this.
Stay tuned for the rest of today, when, after most likely sleeping 'till noon, I'll go shopping for a swimsuit.
And then I'll very mostly likely kill myself trying to swim or something. Either that or get eaten by alligators.

So we visted Universal Studio today! Let's start this off with more Keeta making duck faces at me. And then Keeta and that-12-year-old-boy-cousin making faces at me. So, we walked around a bit at first, and decided to split into 2 groups- aunt, grandma, and 6-year-old in one. 2 boy cousins, Keeta and myself in the other.

First off, I would like to make one thing clear;
I tried to take a lot of good pictures, and I got bitched at to take a lot of good pictures, but I don't have a lot of good pictures. THIS IS BECAUSE, DESPITE TELLING ME TO TAKE LOTS OF GOOD PICTURES, MY FAMILY PAYS NO HEED TO THE FACT THAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO FIND GOOD PICTURES, AND NEVER STOP POWERWALKING LONG ENOUGH TO LET ME LINE A PROPER SHOT UP. UNLESS WE'RE WAITING IN A LINE. AND THOSE AREN'T FUCKING INTERESTING. And now, to the rest of the day.

We walked around some, and got drinks. For some reason I remember a friend saying blue Powerade is yummy, so I got one. It was... okay. Not my favorite, but I drank half of it. We walked under this huuuge loopy rollercoaster called the Incredible Hulk or whatever. Who cares! I like the loops~! But I didn't get to go on it. Instead, we went on a water ride.

Yes, water ride. Me, weighed down with electronics, camera, phone, etc- FIRST RIDE, WATER RIDE. AND NO, OF COURSE WE CAN'T STOP TO GRAB A PLASTIC BAG, BECAUSE SOMETHING WILL PROBABLY MAGIC THEM ALL NOT-BROKEN. This is why my electronics all last for years, while my family breaks all their shit weekly. And the only pic that happened was us waiting in line, taken by that-12-year-old-boy-cousin. I must have been annoyed or something, because I look like I'm about to eat Keeta's face.

I plead insanity, because my family (still, I love them) drives me absolutely bats.

Despite worrying, the ride was totally fun. Simulated hurtling off cliffs is always fun. Unless you die. Teehee. So, we went to fix Keeta's hair in the ladies room, and tested the camera. It miraculously survived, but I still sort of had that face-eating expression on. Keeta replied with more duckface. Mental anxiety sure works up an appetite, so we did some more walking to find a food stand. I think this castle is from the Harry Potter thing or whatever. We didn't go to that today, but whatever. We might later this week, since we have passes.

Anywho, the line was ridiculous, but I wanted a fucking churro we decided to wait it out anyway. Keeta was lookin' all cool with her shiny reflective pilot-y shades on. And even she let me wear them in a photo with that-12-year-old-boy-cousin who is way fucking taller than me OH GOD WHY AM I SO SHORT BWAAAARGH WHERE THE HELL ARE THOSE CHURROS? AAAAUGH.

And then happiness. I split one with Keeta, even though I wanted to devour over 9000 of them. We did some more walking and ended up other side of the park. There was a lot of water here, like everything was docks, and there were mini-waterfalls with ducks and seagulls and... stuff! We crossed another bridge, giving me yet another chance to gaze longingly at that lovely loopy rollercoaster.

It was at this point we met up with grandma, our aunt, and Keeta's little sister who is my 6-year-old-cousin. It was past lunch time, so we powerwalked through half the park, then slowed down in the Dr. Seuss themed area. We took about 5 minutes in a nearby candy shop to get drinks, but candy shops make me move x10 times faster than usual. They had lovely sweet display cases, and OH MY GOSH SO MANY JELLYBEANS! EEEE LOOK AT ALL THE ASSORTED CANDIES OHMYGAAAWSH~! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS IS BUT I WANT ONE.

And then we booked it across the rest of that area. Disregard random park-bench person. Crossed over some more bridge- ooh look a boat! Since we all had week-passes, we left the park and ate lunch at a Panda Buffet. Mmmm, look at what my heart will be doing battle with. I ate like a horse again, though. Nothing remained. Blugh. Grandma and our aunt were tired after lunch, so they decided to go home to nap, Keeta's little sister still wanted to get her face painted and eat cotton candy. So, she came along with us to do just those things.

After confirming this, she said "Oh my gosh I'm so happy! It's like I'm in heaven, except that Keeta's here too."
Kids say the darndest things.

Well, we set back out, and I crashed into an elephant so we decided to take a picture with it. While getting Keeta's little sister her face painting, that-12-year-old-boy-cousin sprawled out on a nearby bench. I thought you were too old for naps He must've been tired. It didn't take too long, and the face painting was really cute. I sort of wanted to get one, but NOPE MOVING ON POWERWALK AWAY. inb4myfamilybreedsfurriesfffffuuuu

At least we were walking into an awesome area. I really liked all the buildings in this area. And we passed by this- I really wanted to check it out, but there was a line all the way down the street for it, and lolmyfamilyandtheirpowerwalking. We decided to try out the Mummy rollercoaster ride thing. They don't allow cameras inside but I didn't see the sign at first I'M SUCH A REBEL OR SOMETHING YEEEAAAH. No one should get their panties in a bunch anyway. Due to lolpowerwalking, I only got one crappy blurred photo anyway.

I liked that ride bunches! It had fire, and sparkly things, and bugs. It was like it was made for me~! <3

Then we lolpowerwalked a bit more, and passed by something about tornadoes. Apparently it was just a little movie about some town getting destroyed by a tornado. My little 6-year-old-cousin didn't want to go in because there was supposed to be more fire, and she wasn't too keen on that. So we just took some pictures of the wall art.

Then a wild camwhore appeared. Keeta's much prettier. I'm so ugly, cripes why do I eve- HOT BUTTERY CRIPES ON TOAST THOSE TREES ARE SQUARE.

Anyway, we split up again here. Keeta wanted to take her little sister to some litter rides, and we wanted to ride some bigger rollercoaster than she could go on. There are no pictures of it since I asked Keeta to hold my stuff because this had loop-de-loops. It wasn't THE loopy-hulk-coaster-thing, but it was fun! It was based around music or something, and while I don't have any photos, I did hear a couple of songs I liked. After I heard them with understandable lyrics, I didn't like them anymore. But I found another song that I don't mind the lyrics of and... ah well.
Haters gonna hate.

Then we all met up again, and went into a Betty Boop themed gift shop. The only thing that caught my eye were these red glass mock-gems. Man, I love sparkly things. Especially red sparkly things.

So, I had lunch with that internet friend. Not much happened, aside from my 6-and-12-year-old-cousins not shutting up EVER OH MY GRAAAUGH. But we had fun, and he was really nice. We doodled on the napkins there, and nerdranted about videogames. It was funnn~ It felt like lunch was just way too short, and when it was over, I was just really kinda sad. It sucks that my internet friends can't all live in one place, because man I miss them. Though, finding a place with a concentrated amount of that much awesome is impossible. Not even in Japan. :I

So anyway, after lunch we decided to go to the beach. I wasn't wearing proper shoes for this however, so we stopped by Target to buy some cheap flip-flops. While my cousin and I were glancing through the clothing section, mostly at bathing suits, this song was born;

...this is why we go to a 'special' school, I just know it.

Anyway, we drove past the sea and- oh wow! That's the clearest seawater I've ever seen with my own eyes. I might just be living near the wrong beaches though. The sand was so soft too! It was silky and pure white~ I definitely live near the wrong beaches. In fact, it was so nice, Keeta did not make a duck face. I took a lot of pictures of the water, just because I couldn't believe how nice this place was. It was so vast, wide, and white. The sea was beautiful, and it made me feel... peaceful. Maybe this is why my mum likes the beach. I got a few flashbacks to visualizations I've had for places in my videogame ideas as well.

There were tons of tiny shells in some places. We were going to collect a bunch to build a sand castle with, but we didn't have a bag, and the 'adults' wouldn't let us go back to the car to get one for some reason. We weren't even parked all that far away either. I have no idea. Don't ask. So, we carried a bunch back for our little cousin, who was digging a hole for some reason. I guess for the castle but... ah well. It was still cool. But then, before we could actually start on the castle itself, the 'grown-ups' were like, TIME TO GO NOW.

So we did. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I fell asleep on the ride home, but when I got back I took pictures of our doodles from lunch. They were so cute. He thought my drawings are better or whatever, but I liked his a lot better! He draws a better Hypedog than me. And then, after doodling a bit more, playing L4D2, and harassing Big Boss over skype with a 12 year old Asian hooker, we went to bed.

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up at noon. No one really up or doing anything, so I decided to make myself lunch. And by 'make myself lunch' I mean, peel 2 slices of cheese out of their wrappers, chug a cola, and fortuitously discover the last chocolate after dinner mint in the candy bowl. After my nutritional needs were not taken care of, Keeta and I decided to go bake ourselves at the pool. We saw lizards. And more lizards. AND LIZARDS AND OH MY GRAAUGH LIZARDS EVERYWHERE.

So then Keeta made a sexy duckface. And we basically baked ourselves in the sun until we were sick of it, and jumped into the pool. And then we were too cold again, so we baked ourselves some more. Keeta took a picture of me baking myself in the sun.  Not working, is it?
