So, I got Minecraft just the other day. I sent Fen six messages, each in the fashion of a journal entry (Cuz, y'know, why not?). Today, she suggested that I make a topic to put them in. So here's the topic. I'd better get to posting.

Entry 1: Stranded on this island. But it's so full of life. Nearby, I saw a cow and some sheep. As well as pigs. But I feel like something malevelent is watching me... I feel as though I must make shelter, and fast!

I've made shelter out of sand and wood. May this hold...

Entry 3: There's something out there... chirps or hissing, I couldn't say. It sounds arachnid.
Entry 4: Daybreak at last! The night felt like it lasted forever...

These THINGS! There were two of them! They were as tall as me, green in color, looked like male genetalia, and can explode! They destroyed my shelter! Luckily, I got away unscathed. But will I be so lucky next time...?

*I won't be making a habit of combining entries, just until I've posted all the ones that already exist.

Entry 6: It's been a day since those phalic creatures destroyed my shelter. Though I thank Lady Luck for smiling upon me, I can't help but to curse Fate for stranding me here and destroying my home. But cursing the heavens will do nothing. I must build another shelter. Even in this strange situation, I'm curious. Can these demons swim? Now is the time to test it. My next shelter shall be built off shore.

Entry 7: The construction of my new shelter is underway. Unfortunately, time was not on my side. In only a couple of hours after the destruction of my first "bunker", evening had fallen. At first I'd thought nothing of it. I figured I would just continue my work. But then I saw them coming this way. Glowing red eyes, large, and making the same noises as on my first night here. I was indeed correct, they were spiders afterall. At the sight of these things, I needed a means of escape. And so I dug a hole in the ground, and placed some wood at the top. A "foxhole" if you will.

Entry 8: Today, I've finished my new shelter! Once again, it's made out of sand for walls and wood for a roof. The difference this time is that now I'm surrounded by water and those things can't hide on the roof.

Entry 9: It's been two days since my last entry. Every night, I hear spiders hissing and scuddling around on the roof. I'm very tired of it and have decided that I'm going to place holes in the roof. Not large enough for them to squeeze through, but not small enough to hinder my punches.

Entry 10: The method explained in my last entry was working well for the past four days. But when I awoke this morning, I was greeted with a most horrifying sight. Two of those demons were attempting to jump onto my roof and make way into my house. I've only one entrance and it's blocked by one of them. It's obvious that I'll not survive this time. And so I choose not to die of starvation or to wait for one to get in. I'll die fighting. To whomever may be reading this, should you find a way to get off of this island, please give this journal to my older brother, Francis, in London.

Entry 11: Amazing. Simply amazing. I'm dead! Or, not dead. Would I be considered undead? I'm still warm and have a pulse. I remember exactly what happened: I broke through one of my walls and assaulted one of them. As expected, it exploded. And yet, here I am. I simply woke up here, in the exact same spot I woke up in on the first day. I'll make way to the ruins of my shelter. With this newfound knowledge, I'm not as afraid of what this island has to offer.

Entry 12: I arrived at the overlook next to the ruins of my shelter. Only one of the creatures died. The other is still there. It looks as though it's waiting, so I'll study it. I'll record everything under this entry. Okay, I've watched it enough. Frankly, I'd like to have studied it more, but it spotted me and acted accordingly. They are adept predators that specialize in stealth and ambush. Though merely baseless conjecture, I believe they may have devoured sulphur (Which explains why they explode). I will call them "Creepers", but only because their faces remind me of my Uncle Jace.

Entry 13: It's been quite some time since the last time I made an entry. Since my last entry, I've built on the ruins of my previous shelter, I made a basement, I made a dock (More to waste time considering I lack a boat), and I made an area for growing crops. I've become quite self-sufficient. Until next time.

Entry 14: For the past couple of days, I've been getting assaulted by zombies and skeletons while I slept (I suppose that proves that I'm not undead). They don't seem smart enough to open either or the doors, and I didn't hear any impact so they didn't fall down the ladder. I'll dismiss it for now.

Entry 15: Today, I sealed off my basement. I was going to bed whenever I heard the moans of a zombie. From inside the house (It's a house now, I've got a sign at the front door and a painting over the bed!). I went into the only area it could be, and what do you know. Two zombies were there. I killed them and then proceeded to seal the entrance. How many more secrets does this island hold? There was no way for them to have clambered into the basement without my notice.

Entry 16: My "beach-front property" has been faring quite well. The frequent rainfall and abundance of animals has aided me greatly. I eat well and I've made sufficient armor from leather, as well as proper tools and weapons from stone. But in my leisurely life here, I've come to realize something: I've not strayed far from my home. How many others have been in my situation? How many others are out there right now? Are they starving? Are they making use of foxholes, just as I did on my second night? Or are they doing so well that I would look like a caveman in comparison? There are other small islands in the distance. I'll leave here and go to another island to search for other people. Copies of all of my entries will be left here, should anybody find this place. I will set out with one of each tool and my weapons.
